For your consideration is a print ad from the Country Gentleman magazine from February 1951. The ad measures 10 1/4" x 13 1/2". It features and has pictured the following model tractors with plow attachments: Model "MC" with No. 55 Three Bottom Truss Frame Plow Model "R" Diesel with the No. 66H Five Bottom Plow equipped for hydraulic list and depth control. There is another tractor pictured pulling a No. 44H plow also. It of course sports the old John Deere logo and contains the following headings in the ad: The ad says, "Choose YOUR New Plow From this FAMOUS FAMILY." It shows all the above reference tractors pictured doing different jobs around the farm. The ad also reads, "TWELVE GREAT JOHN DEERE TRUSS-FRAME PLOWS." The ad is in good condition for it's age however it does have one small rip along the left side edge so it is not perfect. It has been stored in plastic with a piece of cardboard and does have a bit of yellowing on the edges but is in nice condition. For someone who owns one or more of these vintage tractors this would be a nice piece to own. |
