Has many original parts still on it like the spark plug covers, rear wheel wts. and not to mention that valuable Deere square tube wide front which would go for $1,000-$1,300 if you sold it off of it. Just as that Deere 3-Point is worth by itself $1,000 too. We can even paint this too if you wish with a good farm paint job at $600 including 1 coat primer, 2 coats of paint and decals. Plus hand sanded though no clear coat at that priceā¦Paint is done outside. Wheels are cleaned up with a rag and thinner. See the tractor I just listed painted just like this that the shop did last week - MT John Deere Tractor). This 720 is a harder to find, late model Black Dash 720 Deere Tractor. The factory black painted dashes were made in 1958, the last year the 720 was made (1956-58) so they are alot more sought after by collectors. And so in 1958 these Black Dash 720's were given a update and a few mechanical modifications to improve operation and durability including to the hydraulics, clutch, rockshaft and power steering, along with a axle mounted step was now standard (is still on this one) and you could order as options in 1958 a pre-cleaner and left side hydraulic controls. 2/23 Update- Someone asked for a price on this Deere front end and 3-Point separate since you could put those on a 530 or what have you and we would sell the front end for $1,300 and the 3-Point as you see it there complete for $1,000. The front end is in very good condition and not wore out or any slack in it like you sometimes see. We didn't see one weld at first but in double checking it today we see in back behind the cradle area in the center there is a small strap someone weld there by where the back pivot pin goes in...there doesn't seem to be a reason for it so it maybe was just for support. We also have a real nice 330 / 430 / 320 wide front end for $1,200. OR - WE CAN DELIVER anywhere in the US very reasonably for .50-.75 cents a mile or so one way on distances over 350 miles, or closer by within the immediate states or region for $.75 to $1.50 / a mile one way depending on where you live and the overall distance. Will arrive as described guaranteed! The weight of the Deere 720 Tractor is 7,100 lbs. No tax on farm equipment. From the John Deere Collectors Guide - "After a short reign as king of the row-crops, the 70 was replaced by the 720. The new 720 exhibited improvements in virtually every area. With the Custom Powr-Trol, a new position-responsive rock shaft enabled the operator to preset working depth. The operator could raise the implement for a turn at the end of the row and then drop it to the same working depth as before. Also featured was the Load-and-Depth Control, Deere's answer to Harry Ferguson's Draft Control. This feature automatically applied raise-pressure to lift the implement when tough soil conditions where encountered, thereby not only lessening the draft load, but also pulling down on the back wheels to improve traction. Once the hard spot was passed, the system automatically return the implement to its original depth. Except for Diesel, the engines were all new. Displacement was decreased, but rated rpm's were increased from 975 to 1125. This, plus improved cylinder heads and pistons, increased power and reduced fuel consumption. To increase the productivity of the tractor, the productivity of the operator must also be improved. Therefore, on the 720-as on other models in the 20 series-operator comfort and convenience features were added. A new "stand-st-will," more roomy platform was added; the instruments were easier to read; the controls fell more naturally to hand; and the new Float-Ride seat, supported on an adjustable rubber torsion spring and a hydraulic shock absorber, was standard."
