Subject: 1939 john deere g tractor restored & parade ready
This beauty was "self-restored" by the owner who has used it most recently just for parades. It has new front tires and hood, but the fenders are original (they have a few dings, but with the new paint they don't look bad). It has a brand new "head" (the old one was cracked). The radiator had a bad spot, but was repaired. The owner had been using a metal butterfly (that he took off the wall in his home-without asking his wife-and painted yellow) to disguise the opening. However, the last time he moved the tractor it lost a wing. He said, "I can replace it, there are three more butterflies still on the wall in the house."
I'd be glad to answer any and all inquiries honestly and accurately. If you have a question about quality, size, age, condition. . . etc. that has not been addressed in the description, please feel free to email me. I take a break from the computer on the weekends, so if you send me a question on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday it will be answered on Monday.
Thanks for your time and interest!
