This 1948 Ford Tractor Model 8N Operator's Manual appears to be an Original. Unfortunately, the Manual has been wet at some point. Thus, the red cover is spotted (see listing photo) and the red dye has bled onto the first and last few pages, but not enough to destroy the Manual's utility. In addition, there is soiling along the edges of three sides; what looks to be a tar smudge on the rear cover; and, a small tear at the top of the spine. But for a 60 year old Manual, I would still rate the condition as good. The 108 pages contain sections on: Description & Specifications; Controls & Operation; Storage; Lubrication; Engine Tune-up; Troubleshooting; Wheels,Tires & Brakes; Steering Assembly & Front Axle; Engine & Clutch; Fuel & Exhaust Systems; Cooling System; Electrical System; Power Train; Hydraulic System; and, Plowing Instructions. |
