This is one of the nicest starting and running H Farmalls that I have owned. Serial no. 217656 x1 all P casting codes. It is still a working 6 volt system and the battery is to weak to turn it over . It does have the stepped head M&W piston kit in it according to the original owner, lots of power. I went out to start it after it sat all winter and gave it a half crank by hand and it fired right up, and thats how I have started it since I have owned it. The GOOD; Sheet metal is good, Like new tires all the way around 13.6x38 90-95%, Wheel Weights 1 set, Belt pulley, Battery box, Fenders, Grill insert, PTO shield, Steel shift Knob, Excellent oil pressure, Shifts into all gears fine with no noise in rear end, Charging system works, Hydraulic system works, no welds or cracks any where that I have seen. The BAD; Needs new battery? Lights do not work, one front lens is cracked, the rear is missing the lens, Smokes on start up, Temp guage needs replaced, One fender has 3 holes drilled with a SMV sign holder and fire ext. holder, small hole in manifold, needs paint. This a very nice restoration candidate that runs excellent and has a lot of the hard to find pieces already on it. If you want to drive it let me know by email to set up a time. I am "thinning the herd" so this one has to go. If it does not sell I will take the "goodies" off and try again to sell it. These parts are sometimes off of 50 plus year old tractors and will have dirt, rust and dust. I try to describe each item as I see them, so please dont be surprised if I miss a detail good or bad. Any ? just email and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. Please check out my other items. Thank you
