Directions for Setting up and Operating John Deere H-200 Series Two-Row cultivators for Model "H" Tractor. Publication number is DIR. No. 339-Plow Works-3-41. Consists of 24 pages of instructions for setting up and installing the cultivators on the tractor, adjustments and operating information, and parts list and parts pictures. This manual is in used shop worn condition with some damage to the front cover and other pages as if a heavy object was set on it and some pencil marks inside
The manual appears to be white in the photo due to the lighting. It is actually closer to tan or similar to the color of a manila folder. This was the paper type Deere used during this era.

THIS TOOL CAN BE USED TO EITHER CHECK THE HEIGTH OF A MACHINED PART OR TO LAYOUT THE PART TO BE MACHINED. THE BASE IS GROUND FOR EASY MOVEMENT ON A GRANITE OR METAL LAYOUT OR INSPECTION TABLE. THE BASE DOES NOT HAVE ANY MARKINGS ON IT, BUT BOTH RODS ARE STARRETT. ONE ROD MEASURES 11 1/2 AND THE OTHER IS 17 INCHES LONG. THE ONLY THING NEEDED FOR THIS TOOL IS A 5/32 POINTER. IT HAS TWO ADJUSTING KNOBS AND IS IN EXCELLENT COND.

Starrett #199 precision machinist level

This level belonged to my partners’ father so I am unsure of the age. He was a precision mold maker (jet airplane engine parts and like that). I don’t think it got much use but am unsure. It has been used but appears to be 100%. I did a little research on it and know it is still sold for $629. It is adjustable for level. The thing is so accurate I can't tell for sure if it is adjusted properly. The base is 15" long. It a looks to be in good shape with some surface scratches.

This is a used Starrett Master Precision Level that is 15" along base. This level is extremely accurate and measures .0005" per foot. One of the black vial lines is off but you can still see the marking for that level. This comes with a wooden case from factory. It is marked with marker and initials carved into the box, however this does not affect the performance of the level which is in very good shape. The Starrett number is 199.

I found these 11 cards in my Mom’s Cleveland, Ohio - Republic Steel Files. The cards are have never been used - one of them has a little crease in it and the other has some stains but otherwise they are in wonderful condition. Here is some additional information:

John deere 40 tractor, no

This is a John Deere 40 tractor - Serial Number 72210.
It runs great - No Smoke - Starts Easy - Sounds Good.
The 4-speed transmission shifts well, but the shift lever is a little sloppy.
The Clutch, Brakes, Hydraulics and PTO work.
The sheet metal is very good except for a hole around the exhaust pipe, see picture, which should be a fairly easy fix.
This has had an alternator installed, but not wired. The only things hooked up electrically are the ignition and starter.
This has the split rock shaft on the rear but the 3-point arms are gone, see pictures.
Good tires all around. 11.2 x 34 on the rear; 6.00 x 15 on the front. There is some age cracking, mostly on the rear tires. The wheels look very good.
The PTO shaft has been leaking some; otherwise, I don’t see any problems.
Just a very decent, straight old tractor to use or restore. Or Both.
You can pick this up, or you can have it picked up; You make the arrangements. We can load this for you, but we are not set up to accommodate semi-tractors, and the roads in our area will not handle them, either.

This jig can drill a multiple combination of holes using various hole sizes. All 4 guide holes are tapped to take replaceable drill bushings. The Jig does not have to be moved and is therefore more accurate. Drill hole sizes are 1/2, 5/16, and 3/8 inches. 2 bushings of each size are supplied. The bushings and center are precision hardened drill steel. This has oversize clamp jaws to hold stock firmly. Extra wide 2 inch capacity and fine thread steel screw for precise adjustment.
