Offered for your consideration is this fresh from a local farm estate is this very old John Deere brand 32 fl. ounce Multi-Luber Lubricant #AN11100 advertising Tin Can. I spent several hours roaming around several barns on a local farm to come up with a bunch of old oil and oil product tin cans! This is a pretty cool old John Deere can, with lots of possibilities. The can is empty, and it is still very dirty, I did wipe the top dirt off so you could read the graphics on the can. The can used to hold 32 fluid ounces of multi-luber lubricant, the can is empty now. It stands 8 3/4" tall and is approx. 3 3/8" across the bottom of the can. The colors are still nice and should get better if you decide to totally clean it up. It has dents in the front and another one on the back side halfway down, due to a squeeze during pouring. ( I believe that some of the dents can be rolled out if desired, from the inside thru the top opening ) The lid and top is rusty, but far from being all the way thru. As you can see there is some rust on the can from being exposed to the weather in the barns. The can is still very dirty, so some more of the dirt should come off this great old can. A super addition to anyone's vintage John Deere collectables or a very cool addition to your garage or shop art! |
