This is a Schwartz wide front that fits Allis Chalmers WC, WD, WD45,RARE, RARE, RARE! It is an add-on unit that clamps to the tricycle front pedestal after taking the front wheels and hubs. The steering arm bolts to the bottom of the shaft using that big bolt under there. It has its own hubs that uses standard 5 bolt implement wheels which are included but not pictured, size 600x16, no tires. The white rims are off a 1974 Ford pickup, but aren't for sale, but they work also. The unit hasn't any breaks or welds except where we added on to the rear bracket to put the axle behind the pedestal. The axle can be put ahead of the axle by changing the brackets around, but we liked it this way because it turned shorter. It has been on our WD45 for years,I rescued it from my landlord's grove back in the 80's.I do not recommend to use this unit under a loader because it looks a little light, but it is a must for any serious collector as there weren't many made and most were scrapped long ago because they were to light. It was intended to allow the tractor to function in the mud as a low cost solution back in the 50's. It will be a conservation piece at many tractor shows.
